The City of Hamilton May Cover Your Graffiti Removal — For Free

Through the City of Hamilton's Commercial District Revitalization Grant Program, businesses and property owners in designated corridors may qualify for up to $1,000 per year in graffiti removal funding. We'll walk you through the whole process.

  • Covers up to $200 per incident, 5 incidents per year
  • Available to commercial & mixed-use property owners or tenants
  • Applies to Barton Village, Downtown Hamilton, and designated BIAs
  • HSC helps with photos, paperwork, and the removal itself

Two People.
One Mission.

Hammer Street Clean is a small, grassroots business based in Hamilton, Ontario — a two-person team committed to graffiti removal and trash cleanup across the city's parks, alleys, and sidewalks.

Our mission is straightforward: revitalize Hamilton's communities through hands-on care. We moved from Edmonton to the Hammer and found that neglect looks the same everywhere — if you don't have someone willing to bend down and fix it. We're not a corporation. We're your neighbours, showing up block by block. A clean storefront says, "Someone is home here. Someone cares."

We also provide a platform for local businesses to share events and community initiatives, fostering connections among Hamilton residents.
